Chief Financial Officer - Denver
Q Advisors is actively seeking a Chief Financial Officer to perform internal accounting and finance functions. The Chief Financial Officer will be a member of the senior management team and report directly to the Partners / Owners. As such, the CFO will participate in the overall strategic decision making of the company and be responsible for creating and maintaining internal financial control measures, the preparation and accuracy of all financial reporting and provide counsel to the Partners in all financial matters, including those pertaining to SEC and FINRA compliance. This position is also responsible for performing analyses that are used for capital and operating expenditures and revenue forecasting. Additional areas of responsibility will include regulatory compliance, contract administration and working with outside counsel.
Responsibilities
• Timely preparation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow analyses and year-to date comparisons to budget
• Prepare monthly revenue recognition analysis in accordance with FINRA regulations on a deal-by-deal basis
• Work with German counsel on intercompany reporting and German compliance, including monthly payroll for staff
• Lead the regulatory compliance and reporting process, including sending monthly financials to outside FinOP and reviewing for accuracy reports sent FINRA
• Coordinate annual budget process, including hiring plan and any vendor contract changes
• Develop, implement, oversee and maintain sound administrative and fiscal policies and procedures
• Direct and manage financial aspect of human resource activities including hiring, termination, payroll reporting, and administration of employee benefit plans
• Monitor all bank accounts and daily cash balances
• Track accounts receivable and accounts payable; notify partners when client accounts are delinquent; ensure timely payments to vendors
• Prepare documents for the annual audit; supervise preparation of financial statements by outside audit firm; collect from deal teams any required deal-specific information
• Manage all consulting, independent contractor, vendor, and customer agreements, including all insurance policies
• Perform financial analysis of any contemplated changes to vendor agreements, operating agreements and benefits plans and present results to partners for review and discussion
• Coordinate activities of outside compliance agency with Director of Operations
• Work with outside counsel on all aspects of Company business, including contracts, compliance, personnel matters, client agreements, operating agreement, corporate documentation, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
• Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA, CPA preferred
• Minimum of five years' experience, preferably in the investment banking industry
• Familiarity with the broker / dealer regulatory environment, especially FINRA, SEC and SIPC requirements
• Experience with reviewing and negotiating of contractual arrangements
• Excellent communications skills at all levels
• Expert working knowledge of Excel

Compensations and Benefits
• Salary $175 - $200k depending on level of experience

TMT Investment Banking Analyst Intern - Munich
The Investment Banking Analyst Intern position will require working in our Munich office as part of a team to assist in the completion of corporate finance transactions that include mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and numerous other financial advisory mandates. Job responsibilities will include assisting the team in performing financial and valuation analysis, conducting industry and company research, preparing various transaction marketing materials, and contributing to aspects of client interaction and process management. The Investment Banking Analyst Intern position will last approximately 8-12 weeks (with the possibility of extension).
Qualifications
· Current student intending to complete a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-oriented or technical major with relevant coursework in finance and/or accounting
· Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
· Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
· High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement

TMT Investment Banking Vice President - Munich
Q Advisors is actively seeking a Vice President to facilitate corporate finance transactions within Technology, Media, and Telecom (“TMT”). The role includes managing day-to-day deal execution across a broad range of transaction types, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and numerous other financial advisory mandates. This position is for the firm’s Munich office.
The ideal candidate has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical capabilities, and TMT knowledge and passion. The individual must also be adept at managing and working with junior bankers as well as leading deal execution across the entire transaction life cycle.
Primary Responsibilities
· Leads the execution of projects and processes, including equity and debt financings, M&A transactions, and other advisory mandates
· Supervises and manages a team of Associates and Analysts while ensuring efficient firm resource allocation and utilization
· Oversees and constructs deal materials, including information memorandums, management presentations, lender presentations, financial models and analyses, among others
· Performs financial valuation and analyses, provides oversight and framework for deal financial modeling, and conducts due diligence
· Supports Managing Directors and Partners with business development initiatives, including firm pitches and market analyses
· Develops strong client relationships through direct interaction with senior executive management teams
· Builds TMT industry relationships, domain expertise, and market insight
Qualifications
· Minimum experience as an investment banking/ M&A advisors Associate and/ or Vice President of three years
· Master’s degree preferred but not required
· Strong work ethic and passion for investment banking and TMT
· Proven project management leadership skills; ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
· Deep analytical and accounting proficiency; skilled in modeling and financial analysis
· Superior English oral and written communication skills
