TMT Investment Banking Summer Analyst 2027 - Denver
The Investment Banking Intern position will require working as part of a team to assist in the completion of corporate finance transactions that include mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and numerous other financial advisory mandates. Job responsibilities will include assisting Analysts in performing financial and valuation analysis, conducting industry and company research, preparing various transaction marketing materials, and contributing to aspects of client interaction and process management. The Investment Banking Analyst Intern position will last approximately 8-10 weeks and commence in May/June of 2027, upon completion of a candidate’s junior undergraduate year.

Qualifications
· Current student intending to complete a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-oriented or technical major with relevant coursework in finance and/or accounting
· A strong record of academic achievement

TMT Investment Banking Analyst - Denver
Q Advisors is actively seeking an Analyst to support corporate finance transactions within Technology, Media, and Telecom (“TMT”) industry sectors. The Analyst will play an integral support role across all phases of deal execution and a broad range of transaction types, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and numerous other financial advisory mandates. The position is for the firm’s Denver office. The ideal candidate has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, as well as a thorough understanding of corporate accounting and financial reporting. The individual must be a self-starter with the ability to excel in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Primary Responsibilities
· Supports senior bankers in the execution of all projects and processes, including business development, equity and debt financings
· M&A transactions and other advisory mandates
· Performs industry and company-specific research, financial valuations and analyses, and compiles and summarizes information for senior bankers and clients
· Drafts pitch and deal materials, including information memorandums, management presentations, financial models and analyses, among others
· Provides deal organization and process support, including due diligence, data room management, target list creation and tracking, and meeting / call coordination, including direct interaction with client senior executive teams
Qualifications
· A minimum of one year of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst + Intern position
· Strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively autonomously and as part of a team
· Deep analytical and accounting proficiency
· Experience with financial modeling and analysis
· Superior verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Exceptional Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
· Effective industry research capabilities with Pitchbook experience preferred

Q Advisors is actively seeking experienced Associates to support corporate finance transactions within Technology, Media, and Telecom (“TMT”) industry sectors. The Associate will play an integral role across all phases of deal execution and a broad range of transaction types, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and numerous other financial advisory mandates.
The ideal candidate has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong financial modeling, and analytical capabilities, as well as a thorough understanding of corporate accounting and financial reporting. The individual must excel in a team environment with the ability to effectively oversee Analysts while supporting senior bankers and deal execution across the entire transaction life cycle.
Primary Responsibilities
• Supports senior bankers in the execution of all projects and processes, including business development, equity and debt financings, M&A transactions, and other advisory mandates
• Drafts pitch and deal materials, including information memorandums, management presentations, financial models, and analyses, among others
• Performs financial valuation and analyses, provides oversight and framework for deal financial modeling, and conducts due diligence
• Supervises and reviews all Analyst work material while providing guidance as it relates to construction, organization, and prioritization
• Interacts directly with client senior executive teams and provides a lead role in deal organization, process tracking, and due diligence
• Assists senior bankers in outreach during the marketing phase of the process, including significant direct interaction with private equity firms, lenders, and strategic buyers
Qualifications
• A minimum of three years of M&A advisory / investment banking experience, including experience as an Investment Banking Analyst and / or Associate
• Strong work ethic and passion for investment banking
• Deep analytical and accounting proficiency; skilled in modeling and financial analysis
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Exceptional Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• FINRA Series 79 or Series 7 license highly preferred
• Effective industry research capabilities with Pitchbook experience preferred
