Rob Kaufman is currently President of Blue Sage Capital Partners, a consulting firm based in Boulder, Colorado. As a Co-Founder of Q Advisors, Rob led the firm’s efforts with technology and tech-enabled clients, leveraging over 25 years of international capital markets experience raising and investing capital as both agent and principal, and representing clients in mergers and acquisitions. Clients in this work have included ASD, Baker Instrument, Circle Graphics, ELPRO Technologies, Flint Ink, Highwinds Network Group, IP Commerce, Lochard, MatchLogic, PhysIOM, SpectraLink, and Symbios Logic, among others.
Prior to Q Advisors, Rob was President and CEO of netLibrary, Inc., where he was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a 2002 Technology Pioneer, a distinction awarded to only 69 CEOs worldwide. Before moving to Colorado, Rob was Managing Partner of a Boston-based investment partnership, and a Vice President with Goldman Sachs in London.
Rob is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) in Boulder and of the AeA Mountain States Council in Denver, as well as a past member of the Board of Advisors of the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Rob received a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
